Thats outside Chris, keep your eyes on the buoys with Dial-a-Buoy, If it stays from the NW the backside should be OK, if your close(probably no chance to get to Rosa). BUT always respect the forecast, no sense getting hurt for the matter of a few fish! Also check out the swell models from Scripps, they are a pretty good indicator. Good Luck, I hope you get a chance to get out, and by all means stay safe!

Uh, is there another place to fish other than the outside? 35 knots, 11-13 foot seas building 12-15? I'll be checking the tri-tip on the BBQ, not dial a bouy.

So is there any word on in shore halibut???? That would be something we could get in the (Sat) morning before the wind kicks up (I think) FULL moon might bring bait to the beach (or grunion???) Just a thought as last weekend when we had the outstanding weather, I was home entertaining out of town inlaws and going to "plays"....so I do feel your pain.

Phishy, don't worry, if it'll make you feel better, we can have a sleep over and it'll feel like your first overnighter....
