marina del ray

Im gonna be down in "marina del ray' for a few hours on saturday.Can anyone here give me any hints on a decent area to fish, Throwing plastics for bass,halibut.Im not bringing my kayak or anything, just gonna be on my 2 feet. Thanks

hit up the jetty or even the pier at burton chase park

south jetty side early morning live bait if you can on fly line or the beach side plastics good,big perch on north side of jetty,try krock silver and blue,or the perch bite is good at the beach use big gulp red or camo,motor oil o.k also.

Work the jetty right near the curve near the UCLA boat house. Burton Chace is usually really good, or really bad. Try it for awhile, and if nothing is happening, go someplace else.
