Nice fish. We were out there for the weekend and missed the bait. I had actually hired a local captain John from A Fish Afishanado. Anyone looking for someone that has great knowledge of the island. He is the man. We fished the Squid Grounds for a while and then went out for a few rock fish to eat. We ended up dropping him off and going out to the bank for Shark. I will post the catch under it's own tread.
BTW- Be glad you went back on Saturday. We left Sunday afternoon and pulled back into the Isthmus for the night. Seas were terrible out of Avalon. The weather called for 1-2 ft seas. They were way off. I need to brush up on were to listen for better weather forcasts of the sea conditions.
Very Nice fish. Looks like next time we should be there as early as possiable,
