Coastal WSB & Stupid Wx Man

I havent put up a single report yet this year ithink and i got in late last night and was waaaaay too tired to write this so here goes.

Went down the coast around the deephole area to dive urchins and ended up scoring a couple wsb. Small but legal

I know, i took it with my camera phone so it came out kinda crappy

Lots of sharks too. First jump in the water there was like 6-8 soupfins or something swimming around real aggressively. Mating season or sumthin.

water was freezing and dirty.

As usual, the weather man called for 10 knots or less but we left leo carrillo around 5 and got slapped by solid 20 knots with 4ft at like 5 seconds. So fun when your goin 14 knots and trying to watch tv with the tv swinging around. ha ha

I've been slapped by the wind and swells coming back from Malibu a few times and I know what you're saying!!! It's brutal. Did you spear or catch the WSB on line?? Just trying to determine if they are biting.... and finally, did you actually get TV reception or were you watching a DVD? Thanks for the report

I was out last sunday on the yak there with ODH.....Caught 1 shark...got bit off twice right after that.....thought the samething.........Knew there were some WSB down there though!!!!

Its some good fishing down there sometimes but it can be brutal coming back to oxnard.nice fish.
