A few Seabass on the Aloha Spirit 7-17-08

I jumped on the Aloha this morning hoping to see some seabass. It was slow in the morning so we filled the sacks with rockfish then headed back to the spot where a few ghosts decided to play amidst what seemed like and endless barrage of bat rays!

great day on the water with Captain Shawn Stewart and crew!!

Nice report and pics. I like the way they put them in the sacks as opposed to the string around the tail. Looks like it'd be easier to pull out that way.

Good work Robert! You should have squeezed a few shots of yourself on there...

BTW, that picture under the one with Kelly holding a Seabass, was that dude using a spinventional rod? Looks like a conventional bass stick but it's upside down.

I think you're right Homan. The first pic with Jesse holding a Calico shows that guy with his "spinventional" setup in the background.
