Made it out for some quality fishing over the weekend on the "No Limits" out of mission bay with a crew of 6. Left the harbor at 7:00pm on Friday and headed about 80 miles south. Plan was to troll for tuna, work the paddies, then fuel and tie up at the Coral in Ensenada. 1st paddy was spotted at around 7am Sat morning and it was plugged with YT and some dodo's. We landed close to 15 yellows and a couple of dorado before a small mako moved in and shut down the bite. Must have lost close to 8 other fish in the frenzy. Great way to start the morning. Kept trucking on and hit up another half dozen spots and picked off anywhere from 1-4 fish per paddy. By noon we had about 26 yellows and 2 dodo's. Since we were still 3 hours out of Ensenada, we decided to head in early and hit up the town. Got fuel, tied up, hit the pool, bar, then went out for dinner and more drinks. Wobbled back into the boat at around 2:30am and slept til 7 before we headed back out.
Sunday: First stop on a decent paddy yielded a couple of nice dorado, but since most of our bait had rolled that evening at the slip, we ended catching them by trolling small rapalas around the kelp. Heard a call over the radio about a large school of porpoise with some yellowfin tuna under them and shot out in that direction. Problem was they would sink down anytime a boat got near. Finally dialed in the trolling outfits and was able to hook 3 but ended losing one at the gaff. By this time it was time to make the trek home.

Saturdays catch being taken out of the kill bag for cleaning.

One of the nicer yellows. Most were in the 20lb range but did get a few that went close to thirty.

One of the dodo's. I'm trying to make it look as big as possible

The porpoise school we were chasing around all day Sunday. Pod must have had a couple hundred porpoise.

1st Y-fin and me doing my best deckhand impersonation as I hold up the fish for Marcus.

The 2nd Y-fin

This last pick of the sun setting just as we got past the Coronados.
