Thresher shark at Arco 7/25 7/26 W/ PIC

Got off work at 6 a.m. Friday 7/25 morning and made a mad dash for the boat. Met Montauk/rubber squid and Matt at the Ventura Harbor at 6:30, put the boat in and got some killer bait. By seven at Arco at 7:20 started fishing metered around looking for bait for nothing, really slow morning. Not even a knockdown after the one o'clock tide change. We started picking up hitting pinback shark after pinback shark and at 1:30 fish on. It was a thresher, fought for about 10 minutes then went acrobtic and came out of the water. At about 4 feet from the boat and then "pow", bye-bye, I farmed it. By 2:30 it was on the next one and got this one to the BOAT. This was my first thresher at 80 pounds

Then the flippers house we go to clean this thing...

7/26
The next day me and Joey went out but got skunked. Did see a jumper 15 feet from the boat. Got bait from Montauk on the Rumble Fish. They've been out there all morning and didn't catch any. We tried for three hours then headed in

7/27 Me and Jackpot overslept then went on to Santa Rosa got for black sea bass to calicos. One rockfish, and one legal butt but he beat me to the post so....here's the pics.

Alright you guys, there are two posts alluding to some misterious "butt" fish but no pics. Whats up with that? Nice pics of the "T" and blood though.

Never mind. My bad. I would like to claim a senior moment, but it wasn't aged that long.
