Great time as always fishing the Mirage with some great company. It was good to finally meet some more Get Benters and put some faces with screen names. Had a blast watching these guys and gals party till the wee hours of the morning. Top Shot definitely brought some fun and excitement to the trip. That girl can hang with the best of 'em. I guess the co-captain had to finally step out and shut the festivities down. Wish the seabass fishing was a little better but that's just fishing. I worked the rail hard for over 4 hours and got to be one of the lucky ones to land a seabass, the first of the season for me. Can't say enough good things about the boat and crew. Till next time.

I had a good time, it was nice fishing with all of you. the ones of fished with before, and the new friends too. Guess I missed out on the Seabass photo op. thats okay it will still taste good. Oh yeah, and the Shvetty balls, just apple jelly and ketchup for the sauce, they're killer good though.

I had a great time as usual on the Mirage. The ride out was very calm in those "gale force" winds that never showed up. Had a blast all night hanging with everybody. Met some old friends as well as some new peeps to add to the list.

As usual I hit the sack around 3 and tried to sleep until we got to the Seabass/squid grounds around 4:15. Now that I was fully rested? I spread some snaggers around and we started to pull them up 2-6 at a time until we got a full float. Tucker started to sein the float, then the deck crew rolled out of bed with a scowl on their faces and pulled sein after sein after sein out of the crowder and just plugged all three tanks, three gunney sacks, and I don't know how many 5 gallon buckets. Then they sent a load over to the boat next to us as well that plugged their tanks too. Needless to say, we had bait! and also needless to say the entire crew worked all day like a finely oiled machine. You guys are great.

Seabass fishing was slow but we (not me) managed to get 7 on deck before it was time to fill the sacks with reds and chuckles, etc. By noon only about 10 people were still on deck fishing. Everybody else had given up or passed out already. Nonetheless we still got limits for everybody and an additional 3 limits for the crew.

There were no contenders for the Kona eating competition, but they were just as good as usual, complete with a little smack talk from Rsonal.

Tommy, nice slay on the fish buddy, and thanks a lot for hooking me up.

Slow down girl, save some for the next one!

Hope to see you all out on the next one. I tried to add some pics of the float but they wouldn't upload. I'll try again tomorrow.
