My boat was just had both engines serviced for blowing a ton of black smoke when pushing over 2500 RPM. We messed around trying to get that answer and just had no power to go south. All weekend we heard the Radio going off on the fish down south. So $1500 in fuel and the diesel repair coming. I will be back at it in a few weeks. Glad to see they are there. This year I'm going to catch one. Just one is all I need for now. Seeing these posts keep me going.

Well your effort was certainly there! Take care and I'll see you on the water soon.

Steve, we'll be at Dana no later than 4:30am on Saturday. We can hook up at the ramp or you can give me a shout on ch. 69. I hope to see you there.

Nice report. I have been landlocked and just drooling over all the action out there.
Thanks for keeping me sane with the reports and pics.

Well it sounds as though Get Bent will be well represented this weekend in Dana Point. I'll be monitoring ch. 69. Wish us all luck!

If my memory serves me that would be correct. If you have a range of 80 miles, the 181 might be gamble on your boat. Then again you could always strap a tank or two to the side. I don't like going that route and I've only done it a few times, but that might give you a few more options.
