Nice pics!!! Quality fish!!! Sounds like a romantic fun weekend despite the conditions.... Looks like grease conditions in that sheephead shot....

Fun is right, I wish we could go every weekend. All the fish shots are at our anchorage in the late afternoon. That is how crazy it gets out there, the shot with the sheepshead was grease and stayed that way until midnight, when the big winds kicked up all night and through the next day until around 11 am.

Well not exactly hard core, but thank you. I was taking a bath off the swim step, and we do have a nice boat. I had a blast, we are doing it again next weekend. We learned alot, next time we are bringing extra fuel, and the battery was my fault, we had it on one, and had a spair, plus started the engine up from time to time the recharge but I will never run all those lights for 3 hrs making bait in one battery without running the engine. We learn from our mistakes, thank God the are little ones. Next time we will be better prepared.

Sounds like a good trip all in all.

No fun sweating the bait & batteries
I recently purchased a small portable generator to alleviate that "1 worry"!

Thanks for the report!

Good info on Rose. I was considering making that trip. Now I know it's not for everyone.
