I was thinking it had to be somewhere around 150 miles. You guys are absolutely INSANE. That's crazy. I don't have even close to that kind of range. Way to go man.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of mileage do you get and how much fuel can you carry.

We get a touch over 2.1 mpg. We carried 173 gallons (120 in the tanks, and 53 on the deck), but stopped on the way down to top off the main tanks at Catalina as a safety margin. We returned with my safety margin (42 gallons) still in the tanks.

Oh, I'm considering running Friday 9/5, and the regular crew has to work. Looks like the weather will cooperate. Thinking 311 area for the tuna or another secret spot for maybe a little marlin action. Anybody want to run it?

I've heard some 311 rumors floating around, but the water sure looks cold out there. What's the scoop on that? Albacore? Are these confirmed reports?

Hmm, that's a tempting proposition. I have a meeting, but might try to get out of it.

Even though my prostate bounced out of my MilkDud somewhere around malibu, it was truly the trip of a lifetime. You do not merely go fishing with Chris; you go on a long-range Odyssian adventure. Thanks again for an awesome trip.

Got a pic from a real camera instead of that phone camera shot.
