Joe
We left at 10pm from Long Beach and were on the grounds by around 6:30, 7am...That was after we stopped and tanked up on squid......Maybe it is equal distance...right between us???

Im headed out with them on sunday night so I asked them how big they were...
The grade on the blue fin were 10-20lbs ...

That sounds like the same grade we had....but the bite was really spiratic...not WFO like Bobby's bite.

The Tanner is 80.5 miles from Pedro and 85.8 miles from Channel islands. I would like to make a trip out there it sounds fun but we don't have a gap in our schedule that would allow it untill the middle of Oct. Seabscuit should be going back out with passengers go with Bobby save the gas.

The center of the Tanner area is at 32'44, 119'10 approximately. It's 84 NM South of CIH on a 164 degree heading. Basically, it's about the same out of all SoCal ports give or take a few miles. We will be in that vicinity on Saturday on Marstons boat. Next weekend will be aboard my rig.

Joe, ya beat me to the punch........lol

Hmmm I must have a setting wrong on my Garmin mapsource. When I draw the line, it shows me 100 and 115 miles...

Weird...

Joey, you are pretty close if you are talking statute miles. The 85 number is nautical miles.
