I know it's still the season for catchin bigger fish, but I thought I post this up.
After askin a few others from GB that couldn't make it cause of work load,I ask my fish slayer partner Dre to come to Rosa w/me.
All was good up untill we got to the East Channel Bouy then it got a little snotty.15knts outta the WNW, real close together, and about 2'high you know.Any wayswe gotta slow down quite a bit.Someone I know and respect told me recently."The boat can take it,can your passengers".
Any way we finally get there, and I didnt get a chance to rig up,and Mr Dre Slay has 2 quality fish on the boat quick.needless to say it didn't take long for me to rig up.These fish were biting hard on the bottom w/a slow retrive.Christmas Trees,or brown w/a little red flake ,or orange was the ticket.
The bite slows after 11 or so,so we decide to partake ina few cold ones, and go get some taco meat.
Getting tacos is normally a no brainer, but I couldn't keep a 16oz on the bottom w/the wind and current,so we did what we could ,and headed for the barn.
Heres some pics.
Hope you enjoy,I sure did.
MJ.
