Barndoors â€™n Sea Bass

Fished on my rig out of CIH yesterday for 3 halibut to 36# and 2 white sea bass to 20#. Made squid. Dumped a 40-plus wsb at color. Lots of fog and wind.

Now thats a good day oceanic... great job! I know you cant give exact location, but what general area were you fishing? ...inside the harbor, breakwall, oil platforms, islands, flats, etc? [img]smileys/[/img]

Fished backside of Rosa and Cruz. 50 to 100-feet. Small spanish nailed one of the seabass. Watch out for that thick fog and wind.

What a shock, backside of Rosa. I hope the WSB will show up on the flats again. That was really cool. I think that was last year..... we had limits by 8:30am.

Rosa: Heard a boat scored 32 seabass outside earlier in week. Has anyone been there since then? Wx looks right.

Bite slowed down alot Oceanic, I was on the Mirage on the SFR charter on Sun. when it was WFO, 36 seabass. Next day we caught 4.
