yeah, it was a good time... fishing was slow, but always fun fishing with the getbent'ers. Glad to see Diamondboy get redemption on his seabass... congrats bro! Glad to see Carni get the first fish on the boat... and good to see bajadave up and fishing at greylite... hehe, yes, he learned his lesson from that mirage trip. But best of all... good to see fishhead get the jackpot seabass.

as for me... I didn't catch sh*t!!! hehe... well ok, maybe a couple cuda. But no calico, no seabass, no cold. But I humble joey when we were jigging squid. He struggled this time... and I.. well... I was a squid jiggin' mo-fo! [img]smileys/[/img]

but it was strange that things were as slow as they were. tried to think about what it was, and I still cant come up with it... sorta weird. But like I said, i had a good time anyway.

Joey was at the lake today with some chicks... so hang in there guys... he'll post his pictures when he takes a cold shower and decreases himself

Like everyone has said, I too had a great time with some great people on the TAK! Didn't catch much either (1 cuda and broke off by 3 others during that first WSB bite) I did learn that the baracudas are a pretty nasty fish!! It was great to see the guys that did manage a WSB get theirs. Baja Dave got it started and he actually called the fish after opening a beer!! I'm calling him the Babe Ruth of GET BENT from now on! Maybe there's something to that open beer catch fish thing because Fishhead did it right after and immediately he's hooked up??!! Anyhow, it was a great day out there and I look forward to doing it again.

Had a great time out there with you guys! My count for the day was 2 berries and 2 break offs right at grey light. I can't wait for the mirage trip and another chance at WSB. I heard talk of chartering the TAK again next year I for one am in.
