Got to Santa Cruz wednesday evening and moored at smugglers, so we
could try and get to the WSB at Pedro Pt. Woke thursday morning and
found our bait rolled. No idea why pump was flowing good and it was'nt
crowded, maybe they just weren't quite cured. Luckily we made some nice
macks the night before in smugglers, they were every. Went to to the area
recommended for the WSB with dead fresh squid and no love. Next,
decided head to yellows banks for a wide open bite on log Barries. Couple
of our catch went to those fricken thiefing seals along with two of our
best crocodiles. We then tried a couple of halibut spots where I caught a
couple a week ago, no love their also. Headed back for the barn in nice
flat conditions. Overall a fun relaxing trip.
