ventura harbor 9-6-07
Decided to hIt Up the spot again , fished one hour caught a short butt and a HUGE Jack Smelt, this bad BOy was 19 inches, 2LBS, he bit a large chovie! by far the largest I had ever seen OR CAUGHT, I thOUGHt it was a cuda at color! LOL!

Nice!! Those things can get huge. Saw one last week that could have eaten a small dog.

those are great eating around that size too.....LOL!!! smelt short ribs.
