Venice Pier 9/14
Whats up everyone! I went out last night for a few hours, Fished from 7p-10p about Mid pier again facing south. I decided to set up my big boy reel with a Sliding rig & anchovies as bait, been the most productive fishing ive done thus far. Managed to catch 3 little Sting rays and a Lizard fish(suprised). Those little sting rays didnt put up as much of a battle as i thought they where, but then again theyre small so ehh. i was just happy to catch my FIRST 3. As far as the Lizard fish, that was kinda weird. I was checking to see if my bait was still there and all of a sudden this weird fish is at the end of the line. I also cought a little 6" perch on my little rod. That one had a Sabiki rig with Mussel as bait. Took a few pictures of the night, ill post them up later.-Jimmy
