Sorry about not having pics but it was so cold we didn't think much about it.
Anyway...
Launched out of Davies and had the hoops set by 4:00.
It was a bit slow but we managed 2 shorts and 5 well over legal keepers in about 5 hours.
45' of water. Salmon head/mac combo in each.
We had 5 Danielson hoops, 3 Eclipse and 2 of the large regular Promars. None seemed to do any better then the other.
I think I like the all black Danielson (Stealth) hoops as the conical shape SHOULD have an edge and unlike the Eclipse, the tubing doesn't fill with water for a better pull. I don't like the colapsible feature of the Eclipse. As a matter of fact the colapsible feature is kinda a pain as they come apart (occasionally) when you don't expect them to.
Nostrovia,
Dave

My poor advice, go deeper and you should do better. 60' will work. With the cold water and rough conditions the bugs go deeper. Just my two cents.
