Thumbs up Dos Gatos Hooping 12/29/07
Me and rsonl541 "Andrew"-hooping rookie, went out last night to get some bugs...launched out of Ventura Harbor around 3pm, boats and traps everywhere, he'll it was a Saturday....we squeezed into a spot and hunkered there up until we were too cold and went home with 10 bugs...was best for "Dos Gatos Gordos" by far. rsonl541 is no longer a rookie he got his cherry popped and went home with 5 rock crabs and 5 bugs a very happy guy!After all repairs done to the boat it performed well!

That's nice Joe, great job! Disd you have to do anything different for hooping? Extra fees or paper work?

Not yet! When I went to get my license for next year, I asked the cashier for a Lobster Punch Card and she said "What's that?" Apparantly if DFG is gonna do something their gonna have to notify all parties selling fishing licenses of upcoming changes.....
