Talking Ventura pier 1-19-08

Me and two other anglers were fishing the Ventura pier from 10:30am to 6:30pm with fresh mussels and shrimp. The wind was not too bad with comming from the north blowing to the south . We pretty much ended the day with 15 perch from medium to small and two nice size crabs for out time there. I hope everyone have a good holiday. Bye for now. Also ladyfish was on fire with the perch. Student is getting really good. Wow I did well by teaching her lol.

Halibut can be caught off pier and there been time of a good shark run at end of pier. Sea trouts, yellowfin croakers, and spotfin croakers are among the many kinds.
