After reading that the Aloha Spirit got into some WSB on Wed, I got on the boat Thursday. If you looked at the counts, it was a tough day out there. Very scratchy bite for some checkerboards and other assorted fish. Gotta still give the skipper his props as we searched and searched and searched. The boat did spot some yellers and a decent school of WSB but no biters. Highlight of the day for me was hooking the harbor seal that was stealing everyone's bait. Let the sucker run for 200 yds before I tightened down breaking him off.
Heard thursday was especially tough though dont think anybody got them. At least you got out on the water...good to hear a report and that there were some yellows around. cheers
Glad you got out Thresher I was stuck on the road all day. I sure would have traded places with ya. I hope it picks up soon or it is going to be a REALLY slow season.
