Thanks everyone for the kind words. She deserved a good fishing trip and I was elated that I was able to come through. She's been asking about when our next trip is. I couldn't be more proud.
Yes she did! She hasn't learned to rub it in Daddy's face yet, but we'll have to reference this thread in about 4-5 years.

I can only hope that in 14-15 years that she'll still have the desire to fish like her old man. Kids' interests change so quickly and before I know it, she'll be into make-up, boys, and dating. I hope she'll still have time for her old man.
I might have to wrap a few more rods to bribe her. The pink one in the photos above are colors she picked out.
