Hollywood Beach nice bite on the Perch going on..
After reading the recent reports on the Perch bite I wanted to check it out. I managed to find some time to hit the Beach.
Fished from 5:30 to 6:30pm today using a 7 1/2 Clarus, 4lb Maxima, #8 mosquitos on a Sahara and Gulp Camo. The perch wanted the bait on a slow retrieve and they were slamming it hard. I had to change my bait like every 6 casts or so. Right after the change they biting again. I didn't even try the Hammer Grubs because the Crack was on. Caught a handful, a couple dinks but a few nice ones also.
Man, it felt great to get back on the Beach. Get out there guys it's a fun bite.
