SB county line

I hit the surf Friday afternoon. We did not get to the water until around 600 PM. The fish were not cooperating at first. We caught a couple of very nice BSP and then some very small BSP. As the sun was going down the bite turned on. At that point we were getting hit on every cast.
The water was a little off color and there was a lot ok kelp.
One thing I have noticed on my last three trips to county line is there are always birds working bait about a half mile offshore. It would be interesting to find out what is pushing the bait up.

Tough weekend for surf fishing overall the last two days. I was on the water for both days and it really took alot to get them going but it sounds like you found a few biters.

Congrats!
