The wife took our son to stay with the in-laws for the weekend so I found myself with some time to hit up the surf a couple of times
I hit Santa Claus at 2.30 so to catch the tide change, the water was looking sweet! But it was totally too crowded to fish....probably would have hooked some chica's bikini

.
I picked up and headed south and did a slow drive-by at La Conchita and the water was a washbowl with some foam but looking better, so I hit Seacliff just above Emma Wood again. It was sorta crowded but not as bad, I found a small trough and pulled out 10 or so micro dink BSP's.
All were caught on a Kalin 2" pumkin salt&pepper grub. I have been trying to break myself of the crack and use plain grubs, KM's and the LC...in order to get quality instead of quanity and to pick up a nice hali.
All in all it was a good day and it got me excited about hitting up Santa Claus at 1st light in the morning.
