Tried out Tamarack lagoon today
Yo, new to the forums here so hi! I finally got my line wet in socal for the first time being here for 2 1/2 years. Been meaning to try out the surf for awhile but just haven't wanted to buy any gear since it's all up in washington. Well yesterday I bought a decent setup and gear and headed out to the beach today. Don't really know any places around my area (oceanside/camp pendleton) so I headed out to tamarack lagoon around 3:30-5:00 . I was using the camo crack and caught my first croaker. I know it's tiny but hey.. It's my first one hahaha And I meant beach, not lagoon...

And... that was my only fish.

WTG on the croaker....the lagoon kicks out fish too when the tide is moving.
