Fishing was slow with high winds making the beach a washing cycle. It was hard to found the area where there fish were. My lite c-rigs were not hold to spot well. Kept moving to the left close to the. So I switch over to a 10' surf rod with a drop loop set on 3 oz weight. still no dice withj only one 8" to show for my time.

Better conditions with lite wind. Chasing the butterlips perch there. Was using lite line set up with fly lining with 6 lb test and a #6 hook in the fresh mussel shell. I got one perch there as well. The guys there are cool as always even with new onwers. I go and there any time. I heard from one of the guys there. Friday they started the sand bass and calico night fishing. I wondering hopw they did. Wanted to go however had to leave thursday. I guess one of those days
