Hit a spot about 4:30. Had 2 pretty quick short flattys and then 3 decent bsp on the rip bait. Then it goes dead as we move down the beach. The water just wasn’t as good so we headed back to the starting point. Mr. Wookie decides it his turn to catch fish. I told him to put on a swimbait. He starts sticking perch on the 3 inch blue shad hammer and good ones. He gets three practically back to back. I’m still blanking. I switch over to the 3 inch redrum and starting sticking perch. I think I had him about 7 fish to 5. Then he gets a short halibut. Now It’s 7 to 6. Sun is down now. I stick one good. It’s no perch. 24.5 inch flat one. It was the nail in the coffin. I about 5 casts later I stick a solid bsp that was big enough to be lippable. Think I took him 9 to 7 with me 3 flattys including a solid legal and 6 bsp and him 1 short flatty and 6 solid perch.
