Is anyone going to fish 5th st area any this weekend? I am thinking about going out and giving it a try, I have been busy as all these last 3 weeks, and I need some relaxin, so if you see a guy with a long rod in a stake and someone out front with a small rod, stop and say hi................,,,,JohnB

Hey Joey, I am not new to this site, just been busy lately, about driving to the beach, go, and park at 5th st, I know you had a bad experience, but if you quit, they win, and we cant let that happen, park behind the light blue crew ford crew cab, if you go on Sunday, I usually stay close to the area, I have a couple of holes I like to fish, and I would keep an eye on it, any way, dont let things like that ruin it for you. they will get theirs in the end, any way, will be there Sunday am, and hope to see some of you guys JohnB

Hey JohnB,
Are you going to be out in front of 5th street or in front of the power plant? If you know of a couple holes at 5th I may fish that spot. Ive never fished 5th street.

well I made it out on saturday, weather was great, fishing was good, I took my son and grandson, our count was 5 barred perch, 1 was around 12 inches, others were small, 3 corbina, largest around 16 inches, 2 yellow fin croakers, around 12 inches each, and numerous shovelnose. Even the game warden was there, saw him writing up several people for no liscense, alot of fisherman there, more than I have seen before, lots of sand crabs, was just a fun day, all fish were released to fight again another day JohnB
