HOLA!
Yesterday my friend albert, myself and our very own JACKPOT JOHNSON decided to go to 5th street and slay some perch. We came armed with the normal perch setup...carolina rig and GULP sandworms.
Well, yesterday the conditions were NOT the greatest...very crappy surf and some NASTY current. We quickly realized that a 1oz slider wouldnt cut it and switched to 2oz sliders...
First on the board was JJ with a bsp...then albert and I hookup simultaneously...well, albert took off from there...pics below
Final Count was 3 bsp for me, 3 for JJ, 3 for albert (including the Biggest BSP)...most fish were smaller grade Around 8" but alberts biggest went about 12"...
Here is Albert with a BSP:
Later in the day albert connected with a nice YellowFinCroaker!
And for the Grand Finale, the SURPRISE: It was getting late and time for us to go...Look what albert connected with on his "Last Cast!"
The corbina went about 19.5"!
Thanks to JackpotJohnson and Albert for the fun day! Glad we got to wet a line and look forward to doing it again real soon!
