Well flipper doesnt have much to report today. Like Sinkerit was great to get out and smell the salt air and relax, but I totally got skunked. I couldnt even hook one of those thornbacks that I usually cant keep off my line! Balonie joined me for a little "kick-back-time",but heleft quickly after seeing how slow the fishing was. I cleaned up the beach a bit (litter-bugs had a party or something) and left a couple of hours later. I saw nobody (NOT ONE!) catch anything. The water was super MUCKY and the current was stronger than normal. The weather was clear and warm. The water had to have been almost 75-80 degrees (warmer than the air temp for sure.

Date and Location: 7-20-03, Mandalay Beach (power plant)

OH WELL... Its been an entire week since I caught anything... Im starting to develope a nervous tick, so I guess I'll just have to drag balonie out after work this week to fix that! - i hope

Oh yeah... I should have known today was going to suck! After parking my car next to a few piles of glass (sorry joey) I loaded up and started my walk to the beach. Lets just say I got in a fight with the yellow gate (chain), and lost. Even more funny was the fact that some guy was walking up when I slammed into the blacktop. You guys should have seen the look on his face! ...lol. Lastly, my bloody knee was just loving the salt and muck slapping against it all day! And to think... Ithought the bloodwould make for good chum...Ha!

I was carrying a chair, 15ft (3pc) rod, 4ft sand spike, 4ft gaf, cooler, and my tackle bag. Lucky me though, nothing hit the ground but my knee and hand - no tackle was injured!.

After picking the blacktop out of my knee last night, I will be alot more mindfull around that dahm gate!

Batman... Ouch, that had to hurt! ...sand spike slap-down!

Oh, sorry... no boat trip. My uncle decided to cancel. He had a chance to work overtime both Friday and Saturday. He said now he has a bunch of money to dump into the boat! - sweet!

I would like to claim the pile of glass with the large chunks of limo tint in it. That would be mine
