Well last nights full moon didnt bring out the best at McGrath. Ihad spent the pior couple of dayspicturingof a night full of "hook-ups", but the fishing gods had other plans in mind.

Conditions fair with68 degree temp's, almost no wind factor 5mph, full moon, 6.9ft high tide, 3-5ft waves, and a strong current. (had to break out the 8oz sinker)

I fished from 6pm to 3:15am, catching only4SMALL leopard sharks and one SMALL guitarfish. I used chopped mackerel and squid (everything caught on squid). Afterthe last two weeksof slim pickings and last nights lack of hits, I think I can officially say Im in a slump!

Good luck to all ya'll !!!

ps. Im thinking of taking up pier fishing. Can anyone let me know what I MUST have in order to do it properly, and what times are best to go?
