my wife was off work today, so we went to 5th st this morning, arrived around 10:00 am, and stayed until 3:30 pm, soaked a squid all day for nada, but with other rod with high low set up got one nice perch, one yellow fin croaker, with the small rod, 7 perch, four nice ones, around 12 inches, small rod used motor oil/red flake grub, other rod was sand crabs, also caught a small thornback on a sand crab, was a fun day none the less.......JohnB

Sweet John, nice job. 5th St. & the Power Plant have been slow lately, but sounds like you pulled in a few nice fish, good work. Glad you had a good time, see you tomorrow!

My son went to 5th st today, brought home a 12 inch perch, and 18 inch corbina, said he caught no sharks at all, so I hope they are waiting for the smorgasboard of bait we throw at them tomorrow.....JohnB
