Surf Perch Bonanza
Just came back from a six day camping/fishing trip to Dillon Beach in Northern California. I think I must have hit the motherlode as I caught so many perch that my shoulder was hurting. As a note here; several things I did different on this trip. I used scent on my plastic grubs and swimbait. And I used a 3" swimbait besides sometimes using small plastic grubs. I also caught larger perch using the larger swimbait. I decided on trying these different tactics from information found on this, "Get Bent Sportfishing", website. I must have caught over 200 perch using what I learned on this website. Of course, I released most of the fish I caught. I kept a few for eating! Yums! What a great site! What a great trip too! Largest caught weighed 2.4 lbs and 15 inches.
