County/Leo//Zeros conditions??

Will be coming up north tonight to visit my parents, and might have time tomorrow morning for a bit of fishing down at leo or county. Any first hand wind reports for today/predictions por manana? Late launch around 7 if it's doable, if it's howling, I'll surf -

If I'm out, i'll be in a big old yellow tandem

Yesterday was blowing 35+ until Mugu and then was laid down for everything south. Today it was blowing all the way down past Leo and Nich Cyn (Z)... but the layer is filling in and reports are that it will be very nice and mostly windfree tomorrow...

The wind is (currently) blowing predominantly offsore 15+ and gusty/swirly just north of Mugu.

That's all I know.

NOAA still says windy tomorrow down here. I'll bet SB wil be calm...the Santa Ynez mountains usually stops the wind. If it's windy here, we may go up North a bit. Otherwise, Leo sounds good.

Dan, you do not want to be on the water when Santa Ana's are blowing.
I have heard of some horror stories of kayakers on the water when the winds are blowing.

Be careful. And don't hesitate to bail.

Absolutely beautiful day on the water for those that made it out...counted just over a half dozen yaks on the water from Deep Hole to Latigo Pt.
Good luck manana Dan...I'll be doing my thing at the LA Marathon as usual.
