If I'm in town, maybe I'll cruise the Tail Chaser down there to watch the festivities.

Sorry guys work, love lifeand the tail chaser have me running in circles. Talked with Joey and if he is in town I will take a ride with him on the TC and if not I will make some arrangements with my boat. You can take the motor off and a couple or 3 people could carry it to the water but Leo is to difficult to work out the boat is about 350 to 400 pounds so the stairs are out. I will see what I can do and go from there. If nothing else I will be there in spirit.

Carni,

I was looking at the Leo situation with my tandem. There is a dirt road that branches off of the PCH right above the bathrooms. A boat or large kayak could get access to the beach this way and avoid the stairs. It's a longer distance to the water, but possible. Or you could aways take the fun and quick way down the roller coaster.

problem is there is NO parking there and on the weekends the sheriff and life guards (especially a Holiday) watch it like a hawk. I all so have a trailer and can't launch (even if the motor is off it) a motor boat from a public beach. The other hitch is I think I have to be 300 yards off the beach near a public to use the motor on the boat. I am going to check into this but if so I think I might have to make other arrangements. It is only 30 days away that is PLENTY of time to figure it out.
