Of all the posts I have read on GB the past few month this and the predecessor has been the most fun and interesting to me, got me quite hyped up and wishing I could come and join in! It think is great when you have a informal group and some stand up and organize a “impromptu” event like this with so much enthusiasm and drive and with prizes and the whole lot. I know from my involvement with clubs how difficult and often ungrateful this organizing can be.
I was only there in spirit, but thanks Stickerguy (and others)!
Such a pity the Weather did not play ball, but we can’t control everything and it great to see how positive everyone remained, ready to roll again next time. Perhaps with Joeys help with his video, we can have a virtual contest next time so I can also participate.
I have been watching this yak fishing “thing” and would love to try it myself, but our conditions are not very favorable for that.
