kayaking on Sat. 4/29

Wave size permitting, I'm going to try to hit the malibu area on the kayak this Saturday hoping for some halibut or whatever wants to chew. Plans aren't definate but looking good for now. Weather looks like it will be great. There's a rising tide all morning on Sat. so who knows, it may be good. All are welcome to join me.

Little change of plans. I think I'm gonna head to CIH to try my luck there. I think I may do the tourney next month so I want to give it a try.

I gave a short report in another post. Things were really slow. One small mackerel and one short calico. Fished from 7:30 to almost noon. Fished mainly inside breakwall. Used various sizes and colors of plastics. Met Stubbs and Islandfox there as well. Nobody was having luck from what I could tell. Hope it picks up.
