Shopping for a new yak....

Went to Dana Point and Jetski to test lift and drive the 2007 Hobie lineup.

Here I am and Oscar messing around with the Hobie Revolution.

We tried our best, but we couldnt tip it over short of putting our chests to the water. Even with both feet on the side and looking down on the water. it was very stable.

For me the Revolution was a very dry ride. Despite the gaping hole for the drive.

Me and Oscar arent decided on the pedal system though. I got tired pretty fast pedalling. Seemed that paddling was a little easier. This puzzles me. But it was fast, I could actually do an almost complete donut turn with an impressive wake Till next time. /bing

And my personal favorite:

Well this past Thursday J Woodman was pedaling while me and Skunkmaster were paddling......making it look easy he was doing in his Hobie 6 knots in 100 yards!

Hey Mango,
Try fishing at the same time as paddling, then you'll see how great the pedals are!
