Some other things to consider are how/where you're going to store it.
How you'll be transporting it.
Where do you plan to do most of your fishing?

Your size is important.

I have a Cobra fish n dive. Its too big...........For me. But if I was 6'2 or 6'4 it would be my first choice.

I can stand on mine and site fish at casitas. I think its 33 or 34 inches wide and almost 13 feet in length.

If had to do it again I would buy a boat.

I tried quite a few and ended up with a hobie outback. If you are using it to fish, you will never regret it. Stable enough to handle large swells and waves. Carries lobster gear well. Lots of places to set things while fishing. Using the pedals you can troll around a lake all day without getting fatigued. It is a little on the heavy side but I am 5'8" 165# and 58 yrs old and am able to get it on my truck roof racks by myself. It just seems to me that you first determine what you are going to use a kayak for and then get best one regardless of cost. 2-3 years down the road you won't even think of what you paid for it.

Your in Anaheim, if you were anywhere near CIH you could go to New Page 1
and test out all their models.

I have the Wilderness System Tarpon 160i. Great speed. Love it. Must have at least 1 really fast kayak in my fleet. It surfs well and I never wiped yet. Here is a review of the yak Kayak Fish Nation - Home of the Plastic Navy :: View topic - Tarpon 160i Review
