ODOGFISH, I have a Cobra Fish n Dive and prefer it. If you're "big boned"like me, you'll want some extra stability. I had an Ocean Kayak Scupper Pro that was fast and paddled great but when you put a little weight in it, it wanted to roll over. I'm in no big hurry to get where I need to go and I have no problems paddling the Cobra. Plus you can bring a small passenger with you if you want to because the Cobra can hold around 600 lbs. and has a small seat in the front facing the paddler. It also has tons of storage if you get one with the large center hatch (a must). Good luck with your decision.

I am no small guy...... and have scramblers. Not as big a kayak as
some, but easy to load and unload, and float me fine. caught tons of
fish off of it! ( I have 2 so if you want to try one out, let me know and
I will join you)

What is your height and weight?

Also what kind of shape are you in? Do you lift weights? Cardio? Eat like a slob?

Of the 3 yaks you listed...this would be the breakdown of their useage by kayak fisherman. The center hatch on the Cobra kills just about anything else out there. No need to leave your seat to stow your rods, fish, whatever! If you want to try the Cobra let me know hooping, fishing, or just to paddle...we can meet and and give it a go. Good thing about the FnD is that there are always plenty to be found used.

Cobra FnD 80%

X-Factor 15%

Scrambler 5%
