Now I have a question is this for moving around in the yard or house area? or for launching it?? Not being a yak guy (owning one) just curious why you need this. It is cool I love it when people put their minds to work and make something out of nothing. I guess that is why every one calls me Mc Gyver all the time hehehe.

Carni, when fishing areas where you can't park near the water like many of the beach areas, it's a heck of a lot easier to just strap the kayak to the cart and grab the front handle of the yak and walk it to the water. These things are 60-70 lbs. with nothing in them. Add fishing gear, seats, batteries for the fishfinder, and you can easily be over 100 lbs. It's also nice to be able to disassemble it and stow it in the hull of the yak rather than having to walk it back to your vehicle. It's nice to have in case you need it.

Those carts are very handy. I like how you made it so you can disassemble it quickly and easily.
