Bait Tank ?

If anyone has an igloo cooler for a bait tank-how big is it-10qt.,20qt., etc.I am getting ready to build my tank so any info would be very helpful. I know I could use a 5gal buket, but I'm trying to go with an Igloo cooler. Thanks again.

What are you putting the bait tank in? Mine is 70qts Igloo Cube that I use on my 25 foot sailboat. The designes are all the same. Just remember 4qts per gallon. Figure 2-4qts are unusable.

The coolers are "cool" obviously for the dual purpose. I believe the one for the Prowler's is the Igloo Victory cooler...mines blue...the newer one's a red.
You can say time tracking down the odds and ends by getting the kit from Hook1 /kayakfishingear.com
Here's a link to the kit.

Thanks MJ, I got the odds and ends from Hook1 already.....just need to get the cooler.....The igloo Victory comes in several sizes, thats why I was wondering if 10qt was big enough.

Mine says Igloo "Ice Cube" on it. It looks like about 4 gallons or so. I got it at Target.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot. They sell the round 5gal coolers that work awesome for a bait tank.

Are you truly speaking of coolers, or are you refering to 5-gallon buckets? I've never seen a round 5gallon cooler at HD, but that'd be cool if they had them tucked away in a corner!

The igloo water coolers that you see on a lot of work trucks and out at little leauge games are essentially coolers and they are round.
