Thank you for visiting Get Bent Sportfishing. So you want to know a little about Get Bent Sportfishing and it's background huh!

Well it all started years ago with an EarthLink account and it's free 6MB web-space. Well heck, if someone gives you something for free you should use it right? So a fishing website was born focused originally on Freshwater Fishing in Upstate New York back in the late 1990's. Over the years it changed focus from fresh to saltwater fishing and at times was even extremely focused on Catfishing.

Over the years it has grown into what it is today and although we welcome growth and new members we are not in a competition with other sites but would rather work side by side with them for the betterment of our fisheries, sport and to build the Fishermen Brotherly Bond.
