    Fishing is slow right now, a guy down the way caught a nice red this morning. Yesterday, Mrs D caught 2 small sharks.

    Not much action this week. Went out on the Cavaleir on Monday, lots of hardheads and not much else.

    Mrs D and her killer blacktip shark, it was dicey for a while there. He was biting my pliers when I pulled the hook out. :lol::

    UPDATE ::::::>>>>>>>>>>

    We got into some NICE speckled trout.

    Mine was 6 lbs, 26"

    Mrs D was 5 lbs, 25 1/2"

    That's a mean looking shark, maybe it's scaring the redfish and trout away.

    Baby Blacktip (reef shark) that would be the coolest if you had a 150 gallon salt tank.

    Always cool to get reports from other than the West Coast. Even at that size those teeth could put the hurt on ya. Thanks for the report.

    The specks are great fighters, and wonderful table fare. We fed 11 folks off those 2 fish. We usually do catch and release, but the specks always go home with us.

    He was trying to bite me the whole time I was getting the hook out, lots of fun though.

    They were 22 and 24" long, so you would need a big tank for them. It would be way cool though.
