Here are a few pics of Bronze Whalers taken around the beaches in Cape Town...
Shore fishing for Big Sharks is a big thing down here... all fish are released and cared for very carefully...
This is serious combat style fishing as these Sharks take no prisoners!!
    This was caught last week:
    Bronze Whaler 187 Kilos ( 411 lbs )

    And a few others:
    Bronze Whaler - 227 Kilos (499 lbs )

    Bronze Whaler 133 kilos ( 293 lbs )

    Black Tip Shark - 188 kilos ( 413 lbs )

    Cowshark - 70 kilos ( 154 lbs )

    Cowsharl - 80 kilos (176 lbs )

ALL SHARKS RELEASED TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY - Most fish taken on Slide bait rigs... usually whole Bonito, Mackeral or just Bonito Head...
