My friend ordered one online, i checked it out, and it seems like a decent reel. The internal parts, and the drag seem pretty solid, but the real test is when he actually uses it. I will let ya know.

I think I can help you out. The following e-mail is from one of my Ebay customer ( jlongball007[IMG]). You can contact him about the ULISES 200 reels he bought from me. He also bought 2 VS-10 reels as well.

Nice reels. I have been fishing them for while. I have the Poseidon S series S12-ll thru S50-ll ( On the 2speeds the low speed for the S12-ll & S16-ll is 1.6:1 , S22-ll is 1.5:1 and 1.4:1 for the larger reels giving you some reel power ) the Ulises Zorro 100Z-ll & 200Z-ll series and the VS series. They have exellent freespool and the drags are very smooth. I have not fished the VS 12 which is like the MXL but they are on the way. The VS series come in silver, gold, DEEP red, and blue. Taking them on a 5day to Cedros to put the test to them. I think they will be in the local shops soon.

I read a post on the net. It was from Alan Tani, and I quote that "AVET PRO 30EX copied Shimano Tiagra." At the end, everybody copies everybody. Just like hybrid car. GM or Ford copied the technology from the Japan. Man, you need to be open minded. Do you know why AVET always states that "Proudly designed, machined and assembled in USA."? Do you know where most of the internal parts are from? Not for the USA. If you guess China, and you are right.
